You can use Alert Webhooks to send notifications about your checks in Splunk Synthetic Monitoring to an HTTP endpoint. This endpoint could be a third-party alerting service, a company chat application, or even a custom API.
Alert Webhooks are configured on a per-check basis. This means you need to add the webhook to each check you want to send notifications from.
To set up an Alert Webhook, you need to do the following:
- Create a new Alert Webhook
- Edit a check to notify the webhook
Depending on the endpoint you are using, you may also need to configure the webhook within the service you are sending notifications to. See the service-specific pages below to learn how to set up a webhook for each of these services, or a custom endpoint of your choosing.
Pre-configured services
You can set up webhooks for the following pre-configured services. Select a service from the list below to learn how to configure a webhook for it. If the service you want to configure is not in this list, see Configure a webhook to send to a custom endpoint.
