For some Real Browser Check or Uptime Check monitoring, you may need to supply Custom Headers to send with each request in order to generate an expected response or user flow.
Some common use cases for Custom Headers include sending over a cookie with each request or sending an accept-language value to show a specific language to the user.
When you apply Custom Headers to a Real Browser Check or an Uptime Check, Rigor will send those set Custom Headers in each request made according to the check steps. There is not currently a way to send different headers with different requests as part of a multi-step Real Browser Check or multi-step Uptime check.
To set Custom Headers on a Rigor Check:
- Use the action cog to edit the Uptime Check or Real Browser Check
- On the Advanced tab scroll down to Custom Headers + Add Custom Headers
Rigor’s dropdown will show a number of common HTTP header field names. You can also supply custom HTTP header field names if needed.
